  • Another amazing year for 5 Star Events raising £8,500 for UCare – see President, Martin Southey and Celebrity, Tim Munton presenting the cheque to UCare below.
  • 5 Star Events are delighted to announce that Jack Brooks has agreed to be the Celebrity for 2025. Jack has recently retired from Somerset CCC. He is now involved in coaching, media and speaking. More details are available on Jack’s website. A picture of Jack in full flight is shown below.
  • The winners of the Tony Buck Trophy Celebrity Day at Frilford Heath were the Forekinsmen Captained by Martin Lee.
  • The Fixtures for 2025 season have been announced – see Events Page for further details
  • JUNCTION 8 motored their way to victory at Studley Wood with 91pts with the team of Hans Menzel; Rob Tully; Paul Fitzgerald; Dean Malliagh further details are available on the Results Page
  • The Cotswold Chicks were the winners of the Liz Harris Cup at Buckingham GC. See the Results Page for further details.
  • The Blanketmen ran out winners of Pineo Shield at Burford GC. Over £3000 was raised at the event for this year’s charity Ucare.
  • The Celebrity for 2024 is Tim Munton. Tim played over 500 games for Warwickshire before finishing his career at Derbyshire. He also played 2 Tests vs Pakistan. – see picture below.
  • The President for 2024 is Martin Southey – see picture below.
  • At the Celebrity Day 2023 at Frilford Heath, Celebrity, Peter Rhoades-Brown, and President, Clive Alcock, presented Dementia UK, represented by Anna McNee & Mandy Blair, with a cheque for £8,000; another very successful year supporting local charities in the Oxford area – see picture below.
  • We are sad to inform you that Collyn Fell has passed away after a short illness. Collyn has been a stalwart of Five Star being President in 2019. See Collyn Fell Obituary.
  • Five Star Events have over 165 events around the Oxford area and have raised over £166,000 for 18 local charities.
  • 150th Five Star Event took place at Frilford Heath on 2nd August 2019.
  • The President for 2023 was Clive Alcock.
